Seek and You Shall Find, A.G.

I am a believer in God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and God's Holy Word. I'm also married and have four children. All four children are from my one marriage.

I believed in the Lord and was baptized at the age of seven. However, it was at the age of 19 that I fully consecrated my life to God. During that time I began to seek for fellowship with other Christians who loved God, the Bible and the gospel of Christ. I visited several different groups of Christians. The first group seemed to only talk about how much money they needed to pay for renting the convention center. Another group seemed to only emphasize “speaking in tongues”. Finally, I met a group of Christians preaching the gospel by using God's word. They invited me to a meeting of the local church. When I arrived I sensed the Lord's presence as never before! These Christians loved God, the Bible, the gospel of Christ--and they loved the Body of Christ.

During these many years of meeting with the local church I have been helped to love God, the Bible and to preach the gospel of Christ. I love to spend time communing with God. I love to prayerfully read God's Holy Word and I love to speak to sinners and believers about Christ.

It's been 24 years and I'm still so in love with God, the Bible and preaching the gospel. The reason I am still this way is because week after week, month after month, and year after year, I have been helped by the brothers and sisters in the local churches to spend time communing with God, to spend time daily prayerfully reading God's Holy Word, and to be burdened for others to receive Christ and for them to mature in God's life to be built up as Christ's Body.

One of the brothers who helped thousands of us to enjoy God, the Bible, the gospel and the church was Witness Lee. He was a faithful co-worker of Watchman Nee. Both of them labored their whole life to cut straight the Word as mentioned in 2 Timothy 2:13. They received many revelations from God's Word. I had the privilege of being in all but two semi-annual trainings on the New Testament, and in all the trainings on the Old Testament except for the first part of Genesis. I'll never be the same! God, through Witness Lee's ministry, has opened my eyes to see God's desire and goal! God wants us all to become His many sons as His Body to consummate in the New Jerusalem for eternity!
